Resurfacing of City-maintained roads will continue to be a major focus of the City’s Capital Improvements Program.
Funding & Condition Ratings
The annual road resurfacing program is funded through the City’s share of the 6 Cent Gas Tax levied in Seminole County, of which the City currently receives approximately $800,000 per year. The current average condition rating of the recommended list of roads is currently 65 (with 100 being excellent condition) although half the roads on the 5-year list are below that condition rating.
Schedule & Street Listing
The resurfacing schedule and the listings of streets that are scheduled for future years is being updated.
The 10-year resurfacing list is currently being updated and a final report will posted in March 2018.
Please note, the scheduling of these projects is subject to change due to various reasons including coordination with other City projects or budgetary constraints.
