Phase 1 Reopening City Buildings

The following information contains the protocols and procedures for the Phase 1 Re-Opening of City Administrative, Fire, Public Safety, and Public Works Facilities. View City of Oviedo Recreation Facility openings

CITY HALL 

  • Maintain COVID-19 work schedule and staggered office hours.
  • Visitors are allowed inside by appointment and must wear a mask.  Employees meeting with a visitor should also wear a mask.
  • Deliveries may be brought inside lobby if delivery person is wearing a mask.
  • Maintain COVID-19 cleaning efforts in frequently used/common areas.
  • Install plexiglass where appropriate.  Where inappropriate, install other protection measures.
  • Provide telework to employees who are encouraged to stay home by the Governor’s Executive Order 20-112 and/or who have childcare responsibilities. All others should return to work.
  • All employees should have City issued reusable face coverings.
  • Employees should continue to practice social distancing, especially in hallways and break areas, and where practical limit the size of meetings to 10 or less.  
  • Employees should stagger work start and stop times, including breaks, to prevent gathering in groups.
  • Employees should continue to conduct meetings via teleconference or virtually.
  • Continue to provide hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes for daily cleaning of surfaces and work stations.
  • Continue to promote conducting business online, by email, and telephone.
  • Prepare Plan for reopening when social distancing restrictions are relaxed or discontinued.

CITY HALL ANNEX

  • Maintain COVID-19 work schedule and staggered office hours.
  • Maintain COVID-19 application/plan submittal procedures with boxes outside.
  • Visitors allowed inside by appointment and must wear a mask.  Employees meeting with a visitor should also wear a mask.
  • Deliveries may be brought inside if delivery person is wearing a mask.
  • Maintain COVID-19 cleaning efforts in frequently used/common areas.
  • Install plexiglass where appropriate.  Where inappropriate, install other protection measures.
  • Provide telework to employees who are encouraged to stay home by the Governor’s Executive Order 20-112 and/or who have childcare responsibilities. All others return to work.
  • All employees should have City issued reusable face coverings.

  • Visitors allowed inside with an appointment and wearing a mask.  Employees meeting with a visitor should also wear a mask.
  • Deliveries may be brought inside if delivery person is wearing a mask.
  • Maintain COVID-19 cleaning efforts in frequently used/common areas.
  • Install plexiglass where appropriate.  Where inappropriate, install other protection measures.
  • Install floor markings or develop processes for customers wait in their car until contacted to come inside.
  • Provide telework to employees who are encouraged to stay home by the Governor’s Executive Order 20-112 and/or who have childcare responsibilities. All others return to work.

  • Visitors allowed inside with an appointment and wearing a mask.  Employees meeting with a visitor should also wear a mask.
  • Deliveries may be brought inside if delivery person is wearing a mask.
  • Maintain COVID-19 cleaning efforts in frequently used/common areas.
  • Install plexiglass where appropriate.  Where inappropriate, install other protection measures.
  • Install floor markings or develop processes for customers wait in their car until contacted to come inside.

  • Disinfect and sanitize hand tools and equipment daily.
  • Install plexiglass where appropriate.  Where inappropriate, install other protection measures.
  • Install floor markings or develop processes for customers wait in their car until contacted to come inside.
