Welcome to the City of Oviedo
Recreation and Parks Department!


The Oviedo Aquatic Facility will be shutting down operations from Thursday, January 21 - Sunday, February 14, 2016

for repairs and maintenance. During this time the Riverside Pool located at 1600 Lockwood Boulevard will be available during select times for open/lap swimming.  If you have any questions regarding the closure please call 407-971-5567.


  1. Due to the forecast of chilling temperatures for the next few mornings, the Riverside pool will not be opening for groups or open swim on the morning of:

  2. Tuesday, February 9th

  1. Wednesday, February 10th

  2. Thursday, February 11th

  3. This is for the safety of both the swimmers and for the City of Oviedo employees.

    Normal operations should continue in the afternoon, starting at 11am for open swim, but as always, it is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as outside temperature and/or pool temperature.

  4. Below are the times Riverside will be open. 


Monday-Friday’s        7:30a-9:00a


Saturday’s           11a-1p

Sunday’s           1p-6p


The Recreation and Parks Department provides diverse recreational opportunities for all residents in and around the City of Oviedo. Athletics, instructional classes, and leagues as well as aquatics are the four main ways in which the Recreation & Parks Department enhances the quality of life to the residents of Oviedo.
