Effective from  6am Saturday, August 30, 2014 through Sunday, August 31, 2014, the parking lot and select entrances to City Hall will undergo resurfacing during this time period.  Included in this resurfacing is the area directly in front of City Hall where the drop box for Utility Payments is located.  Fire Rescue and the Police Department's front and rear entrances will not be blocked during this time period and can be accessed by the public from Clara Lee Evans Way.

On Friday, August 29, 2014 the main entryway to the Riverside Recreation Facility will be closed while staff is refilling the pool.  During this time, please use the entry at the Skatepark.

Garbage and Recycling

Labor Day Garbage, Recycling, and Yard Waste Schedule

Republic Services will be picking up garbage, recycling, and yard waste on Monday, September 1st for City residents whose service regularly falls on Monday.  There will not be a service interruption due to the Labor Day holiday.

Recycling Improvements In Oviedo

At the end of March 2014, Republic Services delivered new recycling carts to Oviedo residential customers.  The automated recycling collection service began the following service day after receiving a new cart, with the first day of collection being March 24, 2014. There is no change to the collection day.  Cart placement is a question we often receive.  To assist customers with the placement, check out the picture below.  If you have additional questions, please call 407-971-5668.   To read more about the All-In-OneTM program, click HERE.
