At the onset of the Covid-19 Crisis, the City of Oviedo Utilities ceased water disconnects for non-payment and the accrual of late fees. Residents were notified that billing would continue for usage, accounts would accumulate charges, and customers should pay what they could to minimize outstanding balances.
Late fees and Disconnections began on August 1, 2020
The City of Oviedo has resumed normal business procedures for past due accounts. Late fees, disconnections, and disconnection processing fees have resumed.
We understand this has been a difficult time for many and to be accommodating as possible, the City of Oviedo will offer repayment plans in hopes to alleviate the financial impacts to our residents. If you would like to arrange a payment plan, please contact the Utility Department at 407-971-5535 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
