The Annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway will be Saturday, May 13th starting at 9 a.m.   This year is something new!  There will be vendors available for environmental education and coffee and donuts.  Oviedo Police and Fire will be at City Hall with their trucks for the kids to see!  The event is sponsored by the City of Oviedo Public Works Department and will be in the back of City Hall, 400 Alexandria Blvd.  There will be two (2) trees per household given away, while supplies last.  

We are excited about the Arbor Day Giveaway event on Saturday.  Here are a few things you'll need to know about the event.  

• Please be sure to bring an I.D. with you so we can verify your residency in Oviedo.   Remember, only 2 (two) trees per household.  
• The event will be in the BACK of City Hall this year.  There is plenty of parking around City Hall, the Annex Building and only in the FRONT of the Police Department.  
• The back two lanes of parking at City Hall are reserved for vendor spaces and will be blocked off.  The trees will be located in a grassy/tree-covered area in the back and we will have a table set up for line-up and ID checks.  From there, we will hand out numbered tags to claim your trees.  You can pick your trees, enjoy some of the vendors and come back to claim them.  We will have a drive-up area in the back where you can drive through and have volunteers find your trees to load up.  You are also welcome to carry them back to your vehicle if you prefer.
