Oviedo Police Arrest Video Voyeur
Oviedo, Fla. – The Oviedo Police Department arrested a video voyeur after an incident over the Independence Day holiday weekend.
On July 3, 2025, officers responded to Plato’s Closet on Alafaya Trail about an adult male using his phone to record girls in the fitting room of the store. The incident occurred on July 2nd and was reported on July 3rd.
The male, who was seen on surveillance video, was carrying items while approaching the fitting rooms. He was seen intentionally dropping a pair of pants three times, and when he reached down to pick up the pants each time, he put his phone under the fitting room doors and recorded underage girls before leaving the store after the girls yelled out when they noticed him recording.
