Duke Energy will be working this Sunday, 8/20/23 from 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.to remove a decommissioned utility pole within the intersection of Cara Lee Evans Way/City Plaza Way and East Mitchell Hammock Road.
The closures will consist of the following:
Clara Lee Evans Way/City Plaza at the intersection of Mitchell Hammock:
Thru traffic crossing Mitchell Hammock on both Clara Lee Evans and City Plaza will be closed, right turns only.
East Mitchell Hammock Road at Clara Lee Evans Way/City Plaza:
Outside thru lanes on eastbound and westbound E. Mitchell Hammock Rd. will remain open. Inside thru lanes and left turn lanes at the intersection of the intersection of Clara Lee Evans Way and City Plaza will be closed. Right turns onto Clara Lee Evans Way and City Plaza will be permitted. Detours will be in place for motorist and pedestrians.
