The City of Oviedo Fire Department responds to fires and other life safety emergencies within the City of Oviedo and Unincorporated Seminole County. 

Seminole County First Response Program

The Oviedo Fire Department is part of a countywide First Response program. In collaboration with the Seminole County Fire Department and the cities of Lake Mary, Longwood, and Sanford, the Oviedo Fire Department provides fire and emergency medical services (EMS) resources to all of Seminole County. These resources are managed through a centralized dispatch center located at the Seminole County Public Safety Complex.
