Garbage and Recycling

The City of Oviedo, through Waste Pro of Florida, Inc. provides garbage, recycling, yard waste, and bulk waste collection services to residential properties located within the city limits of Oviedo.

Construction type waste and wood fencing are not accepted. 

Report a Problem or Schedule a Bulk Pickup

To report a problem or to schedule the collection of bulk items, contact Waste Pro of Florida, Inc. at 407-774-0800.

Holiday Schedule

There will be no collection services on the following holidays:

• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year’s Day

If your service day falls on one of these holidays, your services will roll over to the following day. For example, if a holiday falls on a Monday, Monday services will be rescheduled to Tuesday, Tuesday services will move to Wednesday, and so on. Friday services will be rescheduled to Saturday for that week only.

Household Hazardous Waste

Residential household hazardous waste is accepted free of charge during regular business hours at the Seminole County Central Transfer Station, located at 1950 State Road 419, Longwood, FL, Monday through Saturday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, excluding holidays. To contact the Central Transfer Station, please call 407-665-2260.

Private Waste Haulers for Commercial Businesses

No private waste collector shall engage in solid waste collection within the City of Oviedo unless authorized to do so pursuant to a written agreement (City of Oviedo Code, Chapter 38 – Solid Waste).
