Per Code 1972, § 24-1, Section 54-32, any residential or commercial users of the city water distribution system will be required to have a water supply meter installed.
Service Details & Fees
Once the service is connected, the user will be required to pay a minimum monthly charge, regardless if the property is vacant or occupied. Disconnection of water only stops water consumption; it does not necessarily constitute discontinuation of service. For example, as long as you are still legally the owner of the property, you will continue to receive monthly utility bills for base fees. Please be advised that these charges will, from time to time, be revised by resolution of the City Council.
